Apply for Legal Aid Grants
The Wyoming Foundation for Civil Justice releases a Notice of Grant Opportunity every spring in a 12-month grant cycle for the next fiscal year. The deadline to submit a grant application is 5:00 p.m. MT on January 31. Please note that incomplete applications or applications submitted after this deadline will not be considered.
Check this site on December 1st the preceding fiscal year to access the next grant application.
Grant awards are announced to grantees on April 1st via email.
Who is Eligible?
We are seeking applications from qualified organizations for grants to provide:
- civil legal services to low-income individuals in Wyoming
- public education projects that promote a knowledge and awareness of the law
- projects that improve the administration of justice
Grantees will be required to provide a report on their use of grant awards, including the outcomes achieved that match stated goals.
