Why Give to the Foundation?
Wyoming is a beautiful state with a geographically widespread population. In addition to financial barriers to legal aid, many people live in remote areas where legal representation may be hours from their homes. The costs of travel and lodging can be barriers to accessing legal representation.
In addition, language and cultural barriers can present challenges to communicate the rights and responsibilities of citizens to access civil legal aid. Educational awareness as well as funding are equally important to reach everyone in need.
By giving to the Wyoming Foundation for Civil Justice, you are reaching multiple organizations and hundreds of Wyoming citizens with your donation.
How can donors help?
- If you are an influencer, spread the word about the need for more legal aid support in Wyoming and across the US. Point them to donation sites like the Wyoming Foundation for Civil Justice. Choose our cause and donate yourself!
- If you are a Wyoming resident, share links from our Resources page with your friends and loved ones. Also, consider a donation to help hundreds of people access civil justice each year.
- If you are an attorney, you can donate through your state bar license fee statement renewal. We also encourage you to use one of our Prime Partners to establish an IOLTA. If you are an attorney serving a remote or indigenous population, you can also help us spread the word about how to qualify for legal aid in Wyoming.
